The Biden Administration’s trade policy has largely been a failure, hardly better than Donald Trump’s, and the latest proof is the collapse of hope for a bilateral deal with the United Kingdom.

New Prime Minister Liz Truss admitted to reporters ahead of her visit to New York last week that “there aren’t currently any negotiations taking place with the U.S.” —and she has no expectation that this will change any time soon.
