Bernie Sanders couldn’t hold back his frustration. The Vermont Socialist unloaded on Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin on Sunday as the reason for the defeat of his socialist agenda on Capitol Hill. “He has sabotaged the President’s agenda,” Mr. Sanders said on ABC’s This Week.
“The problem was that we continued to talk to Manchin like he was serious. He was not,” Mr. Sanders added. “This is a guy who’s a major recipient of fossil-fuel money, a guy who has received campaign contributions from 25 Republican billionaires.”
