One political consequence of the pandemic has been a spontaneous uprising among parents across the U.S. against school lockdowns and woke curricula. Now the Biden Administration has decided to mobilize a political counter-force that may be violating federal law.
In June the Department of Education announced the formation of a National Parents and Families Engagement Council. The council won’t make policy recommendations. But it will “work with the Department to identify constructive ways to help families engage at the local level,” according to a news release.
