Edgard & Cooper is available in 13 countries across Europe. Its ad will run across TV, online video and social media in the U.K., France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
“When countries are still at the smaller stage, we will not yet invest in bigger, upper-funnel marketing campaigns,” Chalabi said. “But these are already quite big markets for us with a customer base which is very loyal to our brand. At a certain moment, you make a decision to say we want to go broader and target more people to make them aware that we exist and what we stand for.”
The effort has already resulted in an increase in website visitors and conversations about pet food transparency.
“Some people said, ‘It’s wonderful. I never questioned myself on the food I give to my pet,’” Chalabi said.
